A big THANKS to the listeners!!!

As described in the interview with T Dawn in the ‘About’ section of the website, this project was, in some ways, about “Getting a monkey off my back. If no one bought it or even listened to it, I didn’t really care”. But people do… and I’m humbled and over the moon that people have taken the time to listen to the music that I’ve created.

So, the questions I am asking today are…

1. Who are you?

2. Where are you?

3. How do I thank you?

It’s interesting that, whilst there is only a small following in Twitter, analytics show that since the announcement of a new website – and a new single – there have been the following increases in AKoPs’ digital footprint:

• Tweet impressions – up 525.2%

• Profile visits – ­up 100.9%

• Mentions – up 7,400.0%

… Which is cool!

But where are these listeners and what does this all mean?

Interestingly, over half of you are in North America – so a big thank you to you guys across the Atlantic for taking the time to listen to All Kinds of Perfect… It’s really cool that this UK Indie sound is enjoyed over there.

It’s also cool to know that our audience is different to that which we anticipated. Over half of you are under 35 and over two-thirds are male. So that is certainly something to think about when we start thinking about what we are going to do next…

And who do we have to specifically thank?

Well... a lot of the traffic emanated from the exposure from Beyond the Dawn radio station and their ‘New Music Monday’ show where we were featured earlier this week!!! So… A special BIG THANKS goes to guys out in California for supporting us!

We also need to say THANKS to The Shift Radio in the UK; 365 Radio Network in Ohio and Rockers Dive Radio in Wisconsin – all of whom have supported All Kinds of Perfect since day one… and continue to do so!
